Multiple Fire Incidents Rock Lagos

In less than two days, multiple fire incidents have rocked different areas of Lagos.
Late last night, the settlement beside the popular Third Mainland Bridge was gutted by fire despite late attempts by the fire service to contain the flames.
A yet-to-be identified person was on Saturday burnt to death at no 15 Alabi Crescent, Ojokoro area of Ijaiye.
The South-west Zonal Spokesperson, Mr. Ibrahim Farinloye who confirmed the incident said a total of eight fire incidents were recorded the same day.
On Sunday, the state fire service also responded to fire outbreaks at Larenzo Club House, Ado road at Ajah and no 8 Ibi Street Plywood Junction, Epe involving two flats.
Again, early this morning, at about 4:36am, a serious fire outbreak occurred at Balogun Market on the Lagos Island.
Farinloye said concerted efforts are ongoing to contain the fire before it would cause more destruction.
