Everyday we have new talents showing from every angle of naija music industry as the industry is getting more foreign recognition.
There was this guy (upcoming artist) I met at a club sometimes late 2014. I was so impressed by his performance that I had to search his name online to get is biography and subsequently met with the guy again at a club in VI, Lagos last week.
His name is Horla Nel. Nel is a Nigerian artist (Rapper, Singer and Performer) According to his records, He was born December 10, 1980 as Olasunkanmi Nelly. Nel was born in Ibadan, Oyo state, Western region
of Nigeria to a church dignitary parents. The stagename "NEL" was adopted from his Middle name Nelly. Nel had his primary and secondary educationin Benin City, Edo State.
Nel started his music career in the year 2006 in Osun state with a music group which consists of 3 members. They recorded several songs together before they went their separate ways in 2008. Since then, Nel has been underground recording, doing road shows and photo modeling. In December 2014. Nel released a single titled "Happy Day" produced by one of Nigeria's top leading producer KeyNote and it is been played in several radio stations across the country.
