For the second time in a week, the Senate have refused to deliberate on the ministerial nomination of former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro, who resigned last year to pursue his governorship ambition. He was nominated again by President Jonathan but APC senators have vowed to make sure he doesn't become minister again. According to reports, the Senate cleared four ministerial nominees yesterday but shifted debate on Obanikoro and two other nominees to next week.
